Giving Back's Not Just for People ....
What: November adoption special! Adoption fees for any dog or cat who has been at the shelter for more than two weeks has been reduced to only $30 (a $35 savings!). Included with the adoption are spay/neuter surgery; vaccinations for rabies, DHLPP or FVCRP, and bordatella; Felv testing for cats and kittens, de-worming, a flea preventative, a general examination, a food sample, and even a month of free health insurance.
Where: 301 Stockholm Street Baltimore, Maryland 21230 (behind M&T Bank Stadium)
When: Now through November 30, 2010. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 2-6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Why: BARCS receives an estimated 11,000 unwanted, abused, or stray animals each year, in addition to managing 32,000 animal welfare enforcement cases. This is your chance to give a cat or dog in need a loving, safe home!
