These are just three of the 17 obstacles planned for the Mud Chasers event set for April 17 at Oregon Ridge Park in Cockeysville.
Dubbed a day of "off-road running, mud, challenging obstacles, mud again, fun, and a spectacular party," Mud Chasers will turn your average Sunday into a unique adventure! It will surely create family memories for years to come. Fill your Facebook photo album with pictures of your kids covered head to toe in mud at the finish line!
There's two separate courses for parents and children. The adult course is a 5k, while Mini Mudders is a 1/4 to 1/2 mile pint-sized obstacle course. There's a category for 5-10 year olds and 11-13 year olds. Every child receives a medal for participating. Adults must accompany 5 and 6 year olds on the course and do not have to pay for registration.
A family-friendly festival with bands and beer for persons of age follows the race. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local Baltimore fire stations.
