While the Maryland State Fair signifies the winding down of school-free days, the Pimlico Racetrack Fair is here to kick summer off!
Every weekend starting Friday, June 17 through Monday, July 4, families can sample more than 100 rides and games, plus plenty of kid-friendly entertainment at the Pimlico race course grounds. Attractions include an Old West show, a petting zoo, trick riders, a magician and the Animals That Built America show.

Ensure you don't leave the fair with empty pockets by planning ahead. Click here to fill out a basic online form that gets you two-for-one admission. That's just $5 admission for every two people in your family.
Additionally, you can also purchase wristbands in advance that let you take advantage of as many rides as you want on any one day from fair open to close. Normally $25, click here to buy them for only $20 each. Individual rides are $1.25 per ticket and all rides cost multiple tickets, so this is a pretty good deal. Just make sure you purchase your bracelets by Friday at 3 p.m. for use over that weekend.
The fair is open through Monday, July 4 on Fridays from 5 p.m.-midnight; and Saturdays, Sundays and Fourth of July, 1 p.m.-midnight.
