Aquarium's FREE 30th Bday Celebration (Plus $5 Admission for 30 Year Olds!)

The countdown is on for the National Aquarium in Baltimore's 30th birthday celebration!

The free festival, which will take place on the pier outside the Aquarium, is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 5, noon-7 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 6, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 7, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Each day also includes special activities inside the Aquarium, if you're willing to pay general admission.

You can also visit the Aquarium on its actual birthday, Monday, Aug. 8 (regular admission required) to enjoy a FREE cupcake. 3,000 will be on display! If you're also turning 30 this year, admission is just $5 on Monday! Just show your ID that includes your 1981 birth year to get the discount.
