The War Came by Train at the B&O Railroad Museum
Discover the role the railroads played in the Civil War during the two free admission days offered by the B&O Railroad Museum. Costumed living historians will provide information to visitors on various aspects of railroading, travel, and military life during the Civil War period. Stilt Walking Workshops by Nana Projects
Why stilt?? Conquering fear is a powerful thing. Learning to fall safely means you no longer have to be cautious when you take risks. Stilt walking is great exercise. Art Workshops at The Painting Workshop
The Painting Workshop believes, as Picasso says, “Everyone is an artist.” Young or old, the art of creating is a joyous, exciting process. We encourage students to try new things, to be inspired by other artists and to find their voice. We invite children to two workshops – one for crafts and the other for painting and drawing.
