With less than a month 'til Christmas, holiday events are popping up everywhere. This Thursday, Dec. 1 there's one you surely don't want to miss! The longstanding tradition of
lighting the Washington Monument at Mount Vernon Place is a beautful and FREE way to kick off the season. The evening also includes holiday performances, food vendors and a fireworks and laser show finale. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. and the lighting ceremony begins at 7:45 p.m. Enjoy!
