Giveaway! Five Grilled Chicken Nugget Kids Meals from Chick-fil-A!

If you happened to catch the viral video from a couple weeks ago of the pink, gooey mystery meat that McDonald's pumps into their chicken nuggets, you were probably just as disgusted as me at the thought of this being a little one's so-called nutritious dinner on the run.

Just about the same time, as if they were reading my mind, Chick-fil-A contacted Economoms with some refreshing news. They recently rolled out a GRILLED chicken nuggets meal. Yep, I said grilled. And it's 100% all-breast meat chicken (not pre-formed meat). Kudos to Chick-fil-A!

Compared to an “average” kid’s meal offered at other fast food restaurants, Chick-fil-A's new 4-count grilled nuggets meal with a fruit cup and low fat milk contains almost 60 percent less calories and an estimated 85 percent less fat. They're also offering a new and healthy side dish choice -- Buddy Fruits Pure Blended Fruit To Go applesauce. If you have a "big kid," the grilled nuggets also comes in a 6-count size. Click here to learn more.

In celebration of Chick-fil-A's effort to go healthy, we're giving away FIVE grilled chicken nugget kid's meals! To be eligible, just comment here or on our Facebook post related to this giveaway. Tell us your favorite way to take a traditionally fatty, sugary, or calorie-laden meal or snack and lighten it up a bit.

The winners will be randomly chosen through random.org on Saturday morning, February 4. Good luck!

My 3 year old loves chocolate milk. So instead of using Hershey's Syrup, I have switched to Ovaltine. Now, he still gets the chocolate taste he loves, but also lots vitamins and minerals and less sugar that I love! And he has lots of fun helping me make it!

Make homemade hot cocoa with fat free evaporated milk. It tastes extra creamy and rich.
