Weekend Outlook - President's Day Weekend Edition

All Weekend

  • IMAX Film Festival - Maryland Science Center through March 1. Six films rotate through the festival. $12 per person (for IMAX show only, does not include museum admission). Or purchase a five movie pass for $30.
Saturday
  • The Great Backyard Bird Count - Robert E Lee Park in Baltimore, 8 a.m.-noon Saturday and Sunday. FREE!
  • Spanish Lessons for Kids - Long Reach Community Center in Columbia. Every Saturday, 9:30-11 a.m. through March 10. Includes music, games, arts, and crafts in addition to language education. FREE!
  • Drop-In Art Activity at the Walters - Every Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. A different theme each month. February's theme is Patterns and Prints. FREE!
  • KERPLUNK! Drop-In Art - The Creative Alliance at the Patterson, noon-3 p.m. Also will be offered Saturday, Feb. 25. FREE!
  • Bye Bye Birdie - St. James Academy, 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. showtimes.
