If Hurricane Irene put a damper on your plans to close out the summer at the
Maryland State Fair, consider heading over there today instead. Skies are sunny and temperatures are forecasted to reach about 80. Plus, the fair directors are offering a hurricane special:
- 2 for 1 admission ALL DAY today ONLY (Monday, Aug. 29)
- Purchase wristbands between noon and 2 p.m. for only $15 each to get unlimited rides until fair closing. Wristbands normally cost $22 each. Cannot be combined with Food Lion $5 off coupon.
- However, if you purchase a wristband between 2 and 6 p.m., you can use the Food Lion coupon, bringing your total from $22 to $17.
