- IMAX Film Festival - Maryland Science Center through March 1. Six films rotate through the festival. $12 per person (for IMAX show only, does not include museum admission). Or purchase a five movie pass for $30.
- Fridays After Five, Prices Take a Dive - At the National Aquarium and the Maryland Science Center through March 23, 2012. Admission is $8. Dolphin shows or 4-D experiences at the Aquarium are $4. IMAX shows and Planetarium presentations are FREE at the Science Center. In February, the Aquarium is celebrating Black History Month furing Fridays After Five.
- Friday Night Stargazing - Maryland Science Center, 5:30-9 p.m. every Friday through January 27, weather permitting. FREE! Friday After Five admission is NOT required to participate.
- First Friday Nature Sphere - Robinson Nature Center in Columbia. Showtimes at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. $6 per person.
- FREE Admission to the American Visionary Art Museum - For Bank of America cardholders thanks to their Museums on Us program both Saturday and Sunday. The AVAM is currently featuring the All Things Round exhibit! Please note: The Reginald F. Lewis Museum for African American History is no longer participating in 2012.
- Great Scale Model Train Show - Maryland State Fairgrounds, Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Adults $9 on Saturday and $8 on Sunday. Kids under 15 FREE! Pay Saturday admission and get in on Sunday for free.
- Teddy Bear Picnic - Baltimore Museum of Industry, 10 a.m.-noon. $8 for members, $10 for non-members.
- Drop-In Art Activity at the Walters - Every Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. A different theme each month. February's theme is Patterns and Prints. FREE!
- Urban Pirates Story Time - Towson branch of the Baltimore County Public Library, 10:30 a.m. FREE!
- Billy B's Nature in the City Concert and Comedy Show - Creative Alliance at the Patterson, 3 p.m. FREE!
- FREE Admission to the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum - In honor of the Babe's birthday! Sunday and Monday.
